floor coverings- sisal v jute

a natural and organic floor covering: sisal or jute rugs- both add warmth and are very affordable.  they are also easy to care for!

what is the difference?

jutes are a little coarser and while durable are not as suited for high traffic areas as they are for bedrooms and and dining rooms.  they tend to be a little chunkier in texture as well.

sisals are a little smoother and are flame retardant and so are better suited for playrooms and high traffic areas (entry ways and stairways)
