Rustic and weathered wood walls

Distressed wood walls- easy to obtain even if you don't live in a barn!  Here's an idea to try if you like this look.  This can add warmth and character to a home and is actually a quick and easy day project!

 

 

You can work with Olympic brand Weathered Barnboard stain and apply over wood panels (there are others also).  I like when the panels are wider and rotated to be horizontal but you can also try on top of bead board.  The extent of distressing is up to you, you can layer in more patina for an aged look!
