vintage inspired kitchen

attention DIYers….

I happen to work in the flatware industry…...so I have pretty good access to what we call "chop suey" aka random pieces of mix and match flatware.  This phenomenon can also occur from years of moving, losing, "borrowing", acquiring from the school lunchroom, etc.  In any case … here's a fun idea to match up some old flatware and achieve a fun way to decorate your table:




Using Americana Gloss Enamels paint in White from DecoArt paint your pieces. Once dry, you just have to let it sit for 48 hours and then bake your utensils in the oven at 350 degrees for half an hour in order for them to be perfectly dishwasher safe. Dishwasher safe, never needs polishing as we say in the biz.
